Don't Drink the Water! PDF Print
Written by Jonathan Haase

So where I work we've been having a lot of issues with the water lately. We have water delivered in those wonderful plastic 10 gallon jugs from a local water company so you'd think we would be safe from contamination, but apparently not. We've had four different instances in the last couple of months, three of them in my department alone. The contamination appears to be some type of genetic thing as it doesn't affect men at all, though men can apparently be carriers, not showing any signs of infection at all, but carrying the disease home to their unsuspecting spouse.

In women the symptoms manifest themselves as a gradual swelling of the abdomen and accute weight gain, followed later by an abrupt weight loss. The disease is known by many different names, but the one most often used by doctors is... pregnancy. :)

Yup it's true Becky is pregnant. We've been planning this for a while now, some of you out there have probably guessed it anyway by our recent purchase of a Mini-Van (though she wasn't pregnant yet when we bought that, just planning ahead :) ). She's approximately 10 weeks along with a due date of mid-october. Her first doctor's appointment was today, and the doctor was already able to find a heartbeat so she got to hear the baby's heartbeat for the first time today. Unfortunately I was tending to Andrew at the time and missed out on that, but I'll definately have to go in for the next one.

New Commanders Coin PDF Print

I was just given a new coin that I've scanned in and added to the commanders coin section under Media. This one isn't really a commander's coin as such, but more of a Mission coin. It's a coin minted for Operation Enduring Freedom, and the B2's action with the bombing in Afghanistan.

Make sure to take a look, and if anyone out there has any additional Coins they would like to donate to my collection feel free to drop me an email :D webmaster @ rabbit-trax . net (remove the spaces from that address to actually email me)

The new picture is located <a href="http://www.rabbit-trax.net/media_section.php?order=2&media_id=2">Here</a>

Ok We're officially old now. PDF Print

Well we finally broke down and did it. Becky and I have been considering it for a while now, and we finally decided that the benefits outweight the negative issues. I know that this officially makes us old, but well that just can't be helped, we all have to get old eventually right. Besides it's not like this makes us elegible for Social Security or anything, does it? Well in any case we shopped around, did some test driving and then last Friday we finally broke down and bought one. In case you haven't figured it out yet I'm talking about a Mini-Van. We looked at several models, keeping in mind what we could afford payments on, and trying to keep with the lowest mileage we could. Originally we came really close to buying a 2001 Pontiac Montana, but then someone else bought it while we were still trying to make up our minds. So a couple of weeks, and three or four test drives later we ended up with a 2002 Oldsmobile Silhouette. It's not brand new, but it's the closest thing to a new vehicle we've ever owned.

Ok It's officially the week before Christmas, and to celebrate the event we're all decked out. Yup, that's right, I've put out the Christmas decorations on the site. What do 'ya think? Ok I know some of them are a little bit cheesy... OK so they're all cheesy. But hey it's christmas, it's not about the decorations, it all about celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ right?
